Freezing Rain in Store for Baltimore County

Roads could be slippery on Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service reported.

A freezing rain advisory means periods of freezing rain will make travel difficult, according to the weather service.

The advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Freezing rain will begin Tuesday night, switching over to rain Wednesday morning, according to the weather service.

The forecast shows temperatures will be near 30 degrees tonight, rising above freezing Wednesday morning.

Untreated roads and sidewalks will become slippery from ice, according to the weather service, which said travel might be difficult and drivers should use extra caution.
