That’s because the store regularly holds running events to keep its customers and friends on the move. Bobby Levin, who runs the store with his wife, Karen, said they’ve been doing these runs ever since they opened about nine years ago.
Fleet Feet is located in the Festival at Woodholme Shopping Center, 1809 Reisterstown Road, in Pikesville. They hold three to five-mile runs every Tuesday and Thursday, usually at 4:30 and 6 p.m., with a small group of regulars. The 6 p.m. runs usually draw the bigger crowds to the street.

Levin said they’ll have 20-30 people run in races during the summer and about 15 in the spring events. Different types of runners run different types of races.

“We go through all the (types) of weather,” Levin said.
Actually, Fleet Feet does a variety of running programs. One of which they’re working is the Brooks Cavalcade Bus and Fun Run which will take place on Sept. 11, a fundraiser for the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company, the Baltimore County Police Department and other organizations.
