2 People Seriously Injured In Fiery Potomac Crash
Two people escaped a burning car after they crashed off the street and overturned in a woody area in Potomac this weekend.
POTOMAC, MD — Two people were seriously injured after their car crashed off the street and overturned in a woody area in Potomac, officials said.
The crash occurred off South Glen Road at a curve near Deep Glen Drive at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer told Patch.
The car rolled over and caught on fire in the curve, Piringer said. The two occupants escaped the burning car and obtained serious injuries.

EMS transported the victims to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. One firefighter was also injured, Piringer said.
