Weekly News
- Weather -This year weather fluctuation has been puzzling and I do not know if I should become a believer of global warming or keep the eye open for more proof! We had three days (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) of 44 to 48 degree during the early hours of the morning here at Aliabaad farm! I love the cool mornings and for sue enjoyed a cup coffee walking around with a light jacket. However, I worried about the plants and how fast our 2014 planting/harvesting season is coming to its end!
- Final Planting Cycle- Our last planning cycle has already started with: Corn, Cucumbers, Lettuce, Radishes, Spinach, Tomatoes, and Turbans. We have already planted and transplanted some and will continue the rest by the end of this week (rain permitting) and I hope we continue to have good weather (65oF to 85oF) so our effort doesnโt go to waste due to early temperature drop and fluctuations.
