• Auto Thefts, Burglary and Robbery Among Incidents in MCPD Weekend Summary (mocoshow.com) — Montgomery County Police report that an auto theft occurred in the 1st District, which covers Rockville, Potomac, and parts of North Bethesda, alongside a fatal pedestrian collision in Poolesville. Additional incidents across other districts include thefts from vehicles, multiple auto thefts, a burglary, and a robbery, offering Potomac residents a snapshot of weekend crime trends nearby.
   

• U.S. finishes strong to conclude Acro Juniors, World Youth Competitions • USA Gymnastics (usagym.org) — A local bright spot for Potomac comes from acrobatic gymnast Alexia Irreno, whose 12–18 women's trio finished seventh at the Acro Junior World Championships in Italy. Several Maryland teammates also placed in the top eight, capping a strong showing for the U.S. delegation on the final day of junior and youth competition.
