Bob Fischer, Potomac Resident, Named Bruster's Real Ice Cream Franchise Operator of the Year!

Gaithersburg, MD and Atlanta, GA – April, 2011 – At the annual Bruster’s Real Ice Cream “Partners in Progress” meeting of over 200 franchise owners, local Washington, DC resident Bob Fischer, owner of the Gaithersburg location won the top award, “Bruster’s Operator of the Year” award. Announced by Bruster’s Real Ice Cream President Jim Shaheen, Bob Fischer was given the year’s top award based on the continued performance and growth of the Gaithersburg, MD store. Out of 250 stores nationwide, the Gaithersburg store was praised for a unique accomplishment in the company’s history, five years of consecutive growth in store revenue, number of transactions and sales.
