The program, hosted by Potomac Community Village, at the Bolger Center, 9600 Newbridge Drive, Potomac, features Anne Baker, Director of Community Education and Training at Hospice Caring. She will discuss the many ways we can create a supportive community to help our friends who are caregivers, and encourage them to seek – and get – the help they need to maintain their own physical and emotional well-being.

Potomac Community Village is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization that uses volunteers to provide numerous services to seniors so that they can keep their independence, dignity and quality of life while remaining in their own homes as long and as safely as possible. Volunteer services provided by PCV include assistance with transportation, errands, electronic devices, friendly phone calls and visits, occasional pet care and simple household repairs. PCV also offers social, educational and wellness activities, enabling members to remain vibrant, contributing members of our community. Membership is open to those who live in the 20854 zip code, with Associate Membership available for those who live elsewhere but wish to participate in PCV’s social, educational and wellness programs.
