"Bye Bye Birdie" on stage at Congregation Har Shalom

It’s Sweet Apple, Ohio, circa 1958 and the whole town is abuzz. Before rock and roll star Conrad Birdie heads off to serve in the U.S. Army, he’ll bestow a final kiss on one lucky teenaged fan. Get ready for zaniness, scorned lovers, songs, dance, and hilarity in the Har Shalom Players revival of Bye Bye Birdie, February 25-26, 2012.

 

A cast of 54 — including children and teens from 17 area schools — brings this lively comedy to life, with an evening performance on Saturday, February 25th at 8:00 p.m. and a matinee show on Sunday, February 26th at 3:00 p.m.

General Admission tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children (under age 13). Patron tickets, which include reserved upfront seating and parking, are $75 for adults and $36 for children (under age 13). Bye Bye Birdie is the latest musical from the Har Shalom Players community theater group. Past shows include: Damn Yankees, Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oliver!, Once Upon A Mattress, and Seussical the Musical.
