Just an hour of your time can make a real difference in the life of a senior! How? Be a volunteer driver and enable someone who no longer drives to age in place in their long-time home. Play a vital role in helping to keep people healthier, happier and part of their community.
Potomac Community Village (PCV) offers rides for Potomac seniors to doctors’ appointments, physical therapy, social activities and other life-enriching engagements.
PCV’s volunteer drivers:

- Use their personal vehicles
- Must attend a training session
- Are professionally vetted
- Get free supplemental auto insurance coverage through the Village Rides program.
- Can determine their own availability

PCV’s volunteer services include assistance with electronic devices, friendly phone calls and visits, occasional pet care and simple household repairs. PCV also offers social, educational and wellness activities, enabling members to remain vibrant, contributing residents of our community.
