Jan. 28- A residential burglary occurred in the 9800 block of Bentcross Drive in Potomac some time between 12:30 a.m. on Jan. 28 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 29. The suspect searched an unlocked car in the victim's driveway. The suspect then entered the garage and searched the three vehicles in the garage, stealing a GPS unit from one vehicle and a chainsaw from the garage.
Jan. 29- Three commercial burglaries occurred at the Westfield Montgomery Mall overnight from Jan. 29 into Jan. 30. The suspect stole items from three kiosks inside the mall. No suspects were seen.
