Potomac House Fire Displaces Family Of 5
A fire that broke out in the chimney of a Blue Meadow Road home displaced a family of five in Potomac Tuesday night.
POTOMAC, MD — A house fire that broke out on Blue Meadow Road displaced a family of five in Potomac Tuesday night, the Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Pete Piringer said.
The fire started in the chimney and spread to the attic of the house in the 1500 block of Blue Meadow Road just before 8:30 p.m. Piringer said about 60 firefighters responded to the call.
The residents inside the home saw the smoke and evacuated the house safely, Piringer said. There were no injuries.
