Potomac Man, 65, Dies After Being Struck by Car: Police
The Police Department's Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the Wednesday evening accident.

POTOMAC, MD — A 65-year-old man died Wednesday night after he was hit by a car while walking along Bells Mill Road, according to the Montgomery County police.
Police and county fire and rescue personnel responded at 8:56 p.m. to the scene of the accident, on Bells Mill Road at Windsor View Drive. The pedestrian, identified as Simon Saikmon Eng, of Harness Trail in Potomac, had been walking west on the eastbound side of Bells Mill Road when he was struck by a Lexus LS 430 sedan, the police said.
The driver, Guy Wassertzug, 50, of Broad Green Terrace in Potomac, was traveling east on Bells Mill Road.

Eng was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. His injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening, but he later died at the hospital, the police said.
This accident remains under investigation by detectives from the Police Department's Collision Reconstruction Unit. Anyone with information on this collision is asked to contact the unit at 240-773-6620.
