Capitol Heights Nightclub Shooting Suspect Arrested
Prince George's County authorities recently took Darius Jackson into custody on attempted murder charges.

A Prince George’s County man was recently arrested for allegedly shooting two people at a Capitol Heights nightclub.
According to a news release, authorities have charged Darius Jackson of Capitol Heights with attempted first-degree murder. Police say Jackson argued with a woman April 11 at a nightclub in the 5000 block of Sheriff Road in Capitol Heights. During the altercation, Jackson fired multiple shots from a handgun in the club’s parking lot, injuring two bystanders.

Jackson fled the scene, authorities say, and was found May 11 at a residence in the 8000 block of Edgeworth Drive in District Heights.
Jackson is also charged with two counts of first-degree assault, firearm use/felony violent crime, and two counts of reckless endangerment.
