Police Talking to Bladensburg Residents About Sexual Assault

A woman walking on a trail near Quincy Street was assaulted Monday night; police are asking the public's help in finding a suspect.

Investigators from the Prince George’s County Police Department are returning to Bladensburg Tuesday night to talk with residents about a sexual assault.

Detectives continue to seek information in the attack, which happened about 6:45 p.m. Monday as the victim as walked on a wooded trail in the 5100 block of Quincy Street.

The suspect is described as a black man, about 40 to 50 years old, 5’8” to 5’10”, with a slim build and black and gray facial hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue baseball cap.

Detectives will begin the canvass in the 5100 block of Quincy Street at 7 tonight.
