2 Men Charged In Fatal Shooting At Rockville Motel

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police identified the victim who was shot and killed at Rockville motel Wednesday night.
Javier Gonzalez-Mena, 39, died from a gunshot wound at the Red Roof Inn PLUS in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.
On Wednesday, at about 11:30 p.m., officers from the Montgomery County Police Department’s 1st District and the Rockville City Police Department went to the motel for the report of a shooting.

In their investigation, police learned that Gonzalez-Mena was staying at the motel. When he heard a knock on the door, he stepped outside to speak with the two suspects. He was then shot and killed.
Both suspects in the fatal shooting have been arrested and charged. Micah Clemon, 32, of Virginia and Sergey Danshin, 34, of Rockville, were taken into custody without incident, police said.

Clemons and Danshin were taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Uni, where they have both been charged with first-degree murder and firearm-related charges, according to police. Both are being held without bond.
