2 Rockville Banks Robbed In 6 Days By Same Man: Police
Authorities are looking for a man they say robbed two Rockville banks in six days. Do you recognize the man caught on surveillance?

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County police are searching for a man they say robbed two Rockville banks in less than a week.
On Oct. 9, a man entered the Old Line Bank at 1801 Rockville Pike, handed the teller a note announcing the robbery, and demanded money, police said. The suspect, who implied he was armed with a weapon, stole cash and fled north on a bicycle.
Police said the bandit then stopped at a nearby parking lot, took off the Washington Redskins shirt he was wearing during the robbery, and continued northbound on Rockville Pike.

On Oct. 15, a man went to the Congressional Bank at 1700 Rockville Pike, gave the teller a note announcing the robbery, and implied he had a weapon. Police said he obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. He was reportedly last seen walking south on Rockville Pike.

The banks are about 0.2 miles apart on Rockville Pike.

Anyone with information about the suspect or these bank robberies should call police at 240-773-5100. Anonymous tipsters may call the county's Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of this suspect.
