76-Year-Old Woman ID'd In Fatal MoCo Parking Garage Crash

An investigation into the crash that killed a 76-year-old Potomac, Maryland, woman continues as police say it could take months to finish.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Potomac resident Marjorie Rothschild, 76, was identified Friday by Montgomery County Police as the woman who died in a parking garage crash earlier this week.

The fatal incident took place Monday at the entrance of the parking garage on the 11300 block of Woodglen Drive.

Rothschild had been driving a blue 2016 Toyota RAV4 when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a cable barricade. She was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

Police said a passenger in the car was hospitalized with significant but non-life-threatening injuries.

No other cars were involved in the incident.
