Writopia Lab (www.WritopiaLab.org) an award-winning nonprofit that runs creative writing workshops for kids ages 8-18, still has a few spots open for our Rockville workshops this fall!
Our workshops are small (3-6 kids) and taught by published writers and produced playwrights. We have been operating locally for three years now, and have worked with students from over 220 schools around Greater Washington.
After-school and weekend workshops are hosted in Rockville by the Johns Hopkins Montgomery County Campus at:

Writopia Lab DC also administers the local region for the Scholastic Writing Awards (www.artandwriting.org), which is the country's largest, longest-running, most prestigious writing program for teens. We will hold special workshops this fall for students applying for the Scholastic Writing Awards. For the past five years, Writopia Lab writers have won more regional and national recognition from The Awards than any other group of writers in the country.
You can learn more about our small, student-centered workshops with published authors on our website: www.writopialab.org. Click here for registration. Or give us a call at (202) 629-9510, as we are happy to discuss our program any time!
