Bomb Threat at Zagruder High School a Hoax: Police
Police are searching for a bomb threat caller at Zagruder High School in Rockville; students were not evacuated.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Students were not evacuated Wednesday morning following a bomb threat at Magruder High School in Rockville. Montgomery County Police are searching for the person who called in the hoax, and said there was no need to evacuate the building.
Montgomery County Public Schools spokeswoman Melissa Rivera told Montgomery Community Media that police dispatchers received a call at 9:14 a.m. claiming there was a bomb in Magruder High School, 5939 Muncaster Mill Road. The caller then hung up.
Police and the school system's Field Security Cluster Coordinator went to the school to evaluate the threat, which was considered a low level threat. Students were not evacuated.

Police officers used K9s to search the building inside and outside for explosives; authorities determined it was not necessary to evacuate the students and staff. By 10 a.m. the all-clear was given.
The investigation into who made the threat continues.
