Singer/songwriter Jack Bond is a performing musician based in Maryland and Nashville, with a voice and guitar style shaped by years in Music City as a songwriter, performer, and studio guitarist. His credits include writing the title cut on Polydor artist Roy Buchanan’s album “That’s What I Am Here For” and dozens of appearances at Nashville’s world‑famous Bluebird Café.
Jack moves easily between Nashville country, Americana, pop, rock, and Christian songs, and continues to collaborate with top Nashville writers while producing guitar tracks and his own recordings. In 2018 he was invited to compose for the Songs of Love Foundation, joining artists such as Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas, and David Lee Roth in creating original songs for children facing serious medical challenges. His recent work includes “Blue Memories,” featured in the Hollywood indie film Turnover, and, of course, the crowd‑pleasing classic “Thank God It’s Friday.

Jay has been a professional guitarist, singer, and songwriter since his late teens. In his early twenties, he co-founded the blues-rock trio The Groov with Kerry Brooks, and in 1996 joined the then-Grateful Dead cover band Wavy Train. Byrd's original songs and guitar work helped Wavy Train to forge a sound that combined pop-oriented melodies with extended improvisation. After moving to the Washington, DC area in 2001, Jason began crafting songs with a decidedly Americana bent. An award-winning songwriter (NewSong, Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, Bernard-Ebb Finalist), Jason continues to write and perform original roots-influenced music. Jay’s new album, At Home Again, is set for release in 2022. His previous band, South Rail, has released three EPs, a self-titled debut in 2012, "Stars" (2014), produced by Don Was, and most recently, “Take The Wheel” (2018).
Throughout the years with Wavy Train, South Rail and as a solo artist, Jay has opened for Little Feat, Chely Wright, Cary Morin, Don Dixon &amp; Marti Jones, Kevin Gordon, Caroline Rose, Yarn, etc. and has shared stages with String Cheese Incident, Tom Constanten, Col. Bruce Hampton, Ratdog and Steve Winwood, among many others.

Justin Trawick has been a staple of the Washington, DC-area music scene and the East Coast touring circuit since 2006, blending folk, Americana, and roots influences drawn from artists like Bob Schneider, Greensky Bluegrass, The Tallest Man on Earth, G. Love, Old Crow Medicine Show, and David Gray. His songwriting earned “Song of the Year” at the Washington Area Music Awards in 2014 for “All the Places That I’ve Been,” and he has since released multiple solo records alongside a growing catalog with his band, Justin Trawick and The Common Good.
The group’s releases include the single “Goodbye,” the Riverwash EP featuring Norah Jones guitarist Adam Levy, and a steady run of singles such as “I’m Doing Alright,” “These Days,” “Life in the Middle,” “Standing on the Edge,” and “Five and Dime,” with a full-length album in the works. Trawick has shared stages with acts like The Wallflowers, Suzanne Vega, Wyclef Jean, and Blues Traveler, and is the founder of the nationally touring “9 Songwriter Series” and co-founder of “The Circus Life Podcast.”

Hank Dietle’s has been a labor of love for fans of the county’s oldest licensed bar for many years, serving up cold beer and warm memories since the 1916 store reopened as Hank Dietle’s Tavern in 1950. As development pressures were wiping out history along the pike, longtime fan Tony Huniak took over in 1990 to keep our beloved bar going. When the Quarry House burned in 2015, Tony welcomed Rockabilly Saturday Night to a new venue on the pike, carving out space for dancing in a homey social setting that proved a perfect fit for fans of live roots &amp; retro music. After Hank Dietle’s suffered a devastating fire in February 2018, fans rallied again to save the irreplaceable roadhouse. Chantal “Kiti” Gartner set up a Go Fund Me website to help the out of work employees and teamed with Mark Segraves and others to organize a benefit concert to launch a reconstruction effort. Thanks to their tireless efforts and many fans who contributed, the roof was repaired, the porch rebuilt, critical electrical work done, and interior walls rebuilt. Building on their efforts, three devotees of the historic tavern, Tommy Bowes, Sarah Bonner, and Alan Kresse, along with Gina Cocco, Lisa White, and Tom Helf, teamed up to complete work on the interior, recreate our beloved “Hank Dietle’s Cold Beer” sign, and get the institution rolling again. All are long-time supporters of Maryland’s live music and dance scene—musicians, promoters and entrepreneurs dedicated to ensuring that Hank Dietle’s rides again.
