The new Whole Foods in Rockville partnered with Bikes For The World hosts a bicycle recycling. Bikes for the World collects thousands of donated bicycles which are sent to non-profit partners overseas, where they transform lives, build civil society, and save the environment by lowering our carbon footprint.
Bikes excepted include: Bikes of all models in repairable condition (please no "rustbuckets" or children's trikes), bicycle parts, accessories, and tools.
Donating a bike is tax-deductible.
