A two-alarm gas station fire in Rockville has been contained, officials said. The fire had shut down a portion of Rockville Pike.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A two-alarm Sunoco gas station fire in Rockville has been contained, according to the fire commander on the scene. No injuries have been reported.
It is unclear what started the fire Friday morning at 790 Hungerford Dr. But the blaze had temporarily shut down a portion of Rockville Pike — between Montgomery College and Rockville Town Center.
As firefighters battled the blaze, smoke may have migrated to the nearby Giant Food, according to dispatch. Some units responded to the supermarket, but it is unclear what they found, if anything at all.
