On the Road

As of 7:23 a.m., delays are dissipating in both directions on US-1 at 7th Street, Northwest after an earlier incident was cleared, according to MATOC. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:16 a.m., inbound traffic on the Suitland Parkway is getting by a disabled vehicle before Stanton Road, Southeast, according to WTOP. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:14 a.m., all lanes of westbound Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest near 7th Street are open to traffic due to a crash involving a pedestrian, reports WTOP. Eastbound lanes remain closed. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:01 a.m., drivers can expect major delays on northbound I-97 at MD 648. I-97 is closed for major emergency road repairs. Traffic is being diverted from MD 648 to I-695, according to MD State Highway Administration. [Glen Burnie, MD]

As of 6:15 a.m., expect delays on northbound I-270 between the Spur and Montrose Road due to a collision. [Rockville, MD]

On Metro

As of 7:01 a.m., Metrobus Route G8 is reporting delays in both directions due to the crash at 7th Street and Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest. [Washington, DC]

MARC

As of 7:03 a.m., on the MARC Penn Line, elevators at BWI-Marshall Airport are out of service and a technician has been notified, according to MTA Maryland. Riders needing ADA access should use the Halethorpe or Odenton stations. [BWI-Marshall Airport]

DC Weather

As of 6:32 a.m., the temperature at Washington/Reagan National Airport was 74 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The weather is sunny and clear, but isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected after 2 p.m., on Friday. [WASHINGTON, DC].

As of 7:39 a.m., AccuWeather is reporting that the temperature in Rockville is 68. Clear skies are forecast for the next two hours. Friday's high temperature will be 84, with a low 67. [ROCKVILLE, MD]
