Maryland Man Strikes Back on 'American Ninja Warrior' in Baltimore
"When you think, you don't move," says Elet Hall, who bested the rest to get in the top group in the qualifying round.

WillĀ the firstĀ American Ninja WarriorĀ come from theĀ Baltimore competition?
New competitors competed in part two of theĀ Baltimore qualifying roundĀ in Monday night's airing of NBC's "American Ninja Warrior," in hopes of winning the ultimate cash prize of $500,000. Obstacles includedĀ Downhill Jump, the Prism Tilt, the Swing Jump and the Circle Cross.
Elet Hall, of Cavetown, MD,Ā returned for redemptionĀ last night, completingĀ the course withĀ the fastest time in Baltimore of 53.79 seconds.
AĀ ski lift operator,Ā ParkourĀ enthusiast and Master's student, HallĀ last year made it to the second stage and fell on the unstable bridge course.
"When you think, you don't move," Hall said after finishing the course.
Last night's top 30 contestantsĀ will move on to the Baltimore finals, and the 100 finalists will then compete at Japan's famousĀ Mount Midoriyama in Las Vegas.
"The course is beyond challenging, the endurance is beyond comprehension and the competition is beyond compare. Many have tried. Only three in the world have succeeded. But yet none have become the first American Ninja Warrior," according toĀ NBC.
