Missing 29-Year-Old Rockville Man Found Dead In Creek Bed: PD

ROCKVILLE, MD — A missing 29-year-old Rockville man was found dead in a creek bed near his home, according to Montgomery County Police.

Michael Lee Higgins, of the 4000 block of Sweetbirch Dr., was last seen on Feb. 25 at about 11 p.m., authorities said. Nearly two months later, officials recovered his body.

On April 21, Montgomery County Police responded to the 4900 block of Sweetbirch Dr. to help the Maryland-National Capital Park Police investigate human remains in a creek bed. Police later identified the remains as Higgins.

Officials say there is no evidence of foul play in the death of Higgins. Autopsy results are pending.
