MoCo Pizzeria Announces It's Last Day Of Service
The Detroit-style pizzeria earlier said it would be shifting its operations to a new site in Montgomery County.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Fans of Pizza Monkey are being put on notice: the last day at its Stonestreet location is Aug. 31.
The Detroit-style pizzeria announced its last day of service on Wednesday in a Facebook post.
"We’re so stoked to be moving on and appreciate all the love and support from our wonderful community as we continue to grow," the post reads.

The brand has been operating out of its current location at 330 North Stonestreet Ave.
As previously reported, Pizza Monkey's relocation will take the eatery to 2009 Chapman Ave., just three miles away.

The Chapman Avenue site previously housed Gilly's Craft Beer & Fine Wine for nearly 20 years before it closed last year.
Until the end of the month, Pizza Monkey will remain open on North Stonestreet Avenue Wednesday through Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. On Tuesday, orders are processed 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
