It's Last Call For 1 Ride On Express Shuttle This Week
The Ride On shuttle had been extended through the end of September after initially launching in July.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A Ride On express shuttle that transports residents from Germantown to Glenmont will make its last run this week.
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that the Ride On Glenmont Express Shuttle would officially be discontinued after Friday.
The free shuttle runs every 40 minutes during the week between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and then again from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Its route is made up of three stops:

- Milestone Park-and-Ride
- Shady Grove
- Glenmont Metro Stations
The department launched the shuttle service in response to the monthslong Metro Red Line closure over the summer.
