Montgomery County Hosts 2nd 'Clear The Shelters' Event
The second round of "Clear the Shelters" kicks off Aug. 29-30 at the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — If you've been looking for a new furball to join your family, the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center is hosting its second "Clear the Shelters" event this weekend.
The adoption event takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the shelter's Derwood location.

"We have so many wonderful animals who are waiting for their forever families, and yours could be the one they've been waiting for," the shelter said in a statement.

Adoptions will be free throughout the weekend, and no appointment is necessary.
