Park Free In Rockville Town Square For Your First Two Hours
Visitors to the Rockville Town Square will now get their first two hours of parking for free — no validation required, the city announced.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Visitors to Rockville Town Square will now have two hours of free garage parking with on validation required, the city announced Thursday.

Here are the parking garages near the town square:
Garage A - Entrances located off of Maryland Avenue and 355
Garage B - Entrance located off of Maryland Avenue by Halfsmoke
Garage C - Entrances located off of E. Middle Lane and North Washington Street

Rates after two hours:
- 2-3 hours: $1
- 3-4 hours: $3
- 4-5 hours: $5
- 5+ hours: $12
This isn't the only parking change in Rockville this week — the mayor and city council just approved a sharp increase in fines for parking too close to a fire hydrant, in a fire land or in a handicap spot without the correct permit.
