Parks, Swim Center: What's Open and Closed in Rockville on 4th of July
Trash collection is delayed a day and some Rockville city facilities are closed July 4. The Mattie J.T. Stepanek Peace Gathering is planned.

Rockville, MD — City Hall and most city facilities will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
Recycling, yard waste and refuse collection will be suspended on July 4 and made one day later. For more information on collection, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/recycling-refuse or call 240-314-8568.
Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers, the Rockville Senior Center and Croydon Creek Nature Center will be closed. Rockville Civic Center Park offices, including Glenview Mansion and the Glenview Mansion Art Gallery will be closed.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close at 6 p.m. Summer hours for individual swim center facilities can be found at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter.
F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and the box office will be closed. Tickets are always available atwww.rockvillemd.gov/theatretix.

Rockville's Independence Day Celebration is celebrating its second year at Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park in King Farm, 1800 Piccard Drive. This location offers good spectator viewing, and ample parking.
