• Paisano's Pizzeria Expands Free Slice Program To Anyone In Need (patch.com) — Rockville residents in need can now get free pizza slices at the Paisano's on Rockville Pike through the expanded Community Slice Program, which now serves adults as well as children. Supported by Paisano's With a Purpose and the Pruitt Foundation, the effort relies on customer donations and matching contributions to provide meals at locations in Rockville, Gaithersburg, and Germantown.
   

• New Round Of MoCo Water Shutoffs Scheduled For October: What To Know (patch.com) — Rockville residents near Beall Avenue and Owens Street should prepare for planned water shutoffs on Oct. 20 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m, with Oct. 21 as a backup date. Affected homes may see temporary discoloration and air in their lines, and the city advises flushing faucets and contacting Operations Maintenance if issues persist beyond 24 hours.
