Police are asking the public's help in finding the family of Jose Erasmo Rojas, who was hospitalized after being hit by a bus.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is making a request to residents: help find the family of Jose Erasmo Rojas.

Rojas was hit by a Ride On bus on Wednesday and has remained hospitalized. The department said in a release that the 36-year-old is in critical condition.

Detectives working the case have determined that Rojas has ties to Newark, New Jersey, and has only been in the county for a year.
