Roy Rogers Opens in Aspen Hill

A day of giveaways will mark the grand opening of the chain's fifth location in Montgomery County.

ASPEN HILL, MD--Beginning at 10:30 a.m. today, fans were able to enjoy their favorite Roy Rogers menu items at the new location in Aspen Hill, celebrating the quick-service chain’s 5th location to open in Montgomery County.

The first 100 guests in line received a $100 Cowboy Cash gift card. Additional giveaway opportunities will take place throughout opening day.

Aspen Hill marks the first Roy Rogers franchise location for Mohammad Haque of MA Food, LLC. As a seasoned restaurant operator of numerous franchised brands including Wendy’s, Haque brings a wealth of experience to the iconic brand.

“I am delighted to be part of the Roy Rogers franchise,” said Haque. “With such a popular following in this area, I’m excited to open the doors of my first location in Aspen Hill.”

Roy Rogers is continuing its growth throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, with several stores set to open within the next six months. That includes an Anne Arundel County location at 14 Magothy Beach Road in Pasadena.

With average store sales exceeding $1.6 million, the chain has been strategically developing both traditional and non-traditional units as a cost effective way to re-enter markets with previous success.

“The residents of Aspen Hill have welcomed us back into the market with open arms,” said Jim Plamondon, co-president of Plamondon Companies, the franchisor of the Roy Rogers Restaurants chain. “Our restaurants are known for quality, variety and choice and we are excited to share what sets us apart from other quick-service concepts with fans old and new.”
