Scrabble Scramble Spells Success for Adult Literacy
Scrabble Scramble raised funds to support the adult literacy programs of the Literacy Council of Montgomery County.

The Literacy Council of Montgomery County held its 7th annual Scrabble Scramble on Sunday, March 2, 2015 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Proceeds benefitted the organization’s adult literacy programs.
Two hundred and fifty guests – the largest attendance in the history of Scrabble Scramble – attended the fundraising event.
Scrabble Scramble featured a silent auction and raffle items, dinner and drinks, and a modified game of Scrabble, during which four-player teams competed against each other to achieve the highest total score. First, second and third place winning tables were awarded prizes.
