Investigators say that the driver of the WSSC Ford F550 truck, identified as John Kline, 52, of Hagerstown, was charged with failure to yield to oncoming traffic on a left turn and negligent driving.

The accident happened in the 12100 block of Darnestown Road at the entrance to a shopping center. Police say Kline’s truck was stopped and Malizio was unconscious in the roadway near his bicycle. Officers immediately started life-saving measures and were then assisted by Montgomery County Fire/Rescue personnel.
