Volunteer Fair Set for Saturday at Kinder Farm Park
Organizers will share information about local volunteer opportunities.

Those looking to volunteer in the community can get all their information in one place Saturday at the Spring Volunteer Fair at Kinder Farm Park in Millersville.
April is National Volunteer Month: Families, individuals and groups can learn more about local volunteer opportunities from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
The fair will feature door prizes and light refreshments, along with a grand prize drawing at 11 a.m. for two tickets to the Volunteer Center’s Nite at the Races on May 10 at the DoubleTree Annapolis Hotel.

The following groups will be in attendance at the fair: Volunteer Center, Department of Recreation and Parks, the Watershed Stewards Academy, the Department of Aging & Disabilities, Pets on Wheels, Meals on Wheels, Maryland Therapeutic Riding, Chesapeake Children’s Museum, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland, Assistance League of the Chesapeake, Historic Annapolis Foundation, Center of Help (Centro de Ayuda), Partners in Care, Asbury Church Assistance Network, the Department of Social Services and Bello Machre.
Parking for the fair at Kinder Farm Park is free.
