2013 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Action

Local AACO women in action today at Navy vs Winthrop in Annapolis.  Where the Midshipman of Navy (1-0) took on the Winthrop Eagles (1-1).

6th season coach for Navy Cindy Timchal took a spirited Navy team onto the field for a big opening season victory over 1st year Coach John Sung.

Several players from both teams are Anne Arundel County standouts to include  Navy #1#8 Sam Dennis, #17 Morgan O'Brien, #18 Emily Mellin, #28 Alexis Cowing, #$32 Cara Pastrana, #33 Jill Coughlin and from the Winthrop side, #8 Logan McCarthy, #11 Abigail Blevins, #17 Carrie Miskill and #24 Camille King

Navy prevailed in the end 23-4 and is predicted to capture a 4th straight Patriot League crown.
