Chesapeake Ballet Company donates Halloween Candy

The Chesapeake Ballet Company recently collected and donated 93 pounds of leftover Halloween candy to send to US Troops deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Over 80 students from ballet schools from all over Maryland, including Annapolis, Columbia, Forest Hill, Kent Island and Severna Park came together to donate to the soldiers.  Both troops are with Explosive Ordnance Disposal units.

Chesapeake Ballet Company produces 2 full length ballets each year, The Nutcracker in December and a Fairy Tale ballet in the spring, both at Children's Theatre of Annapolis.  Upcoming tickets for The Nutcracker may be purchased at www.chesapeakeballetcompany.ticketleap.com
