County LWV to Co-Host Panel Discussion on Redistricting, March 3

The League of Women Voters of Anne Arundel County, in cooperation with the Annapolis Section of the National Council of Jewish Women, will co-host a panel discussion on redistricting on Sunday, March 3. “Taming the Gerrymander” will be held at the Annapolis branch of the Anne Arundel County Library, 1410 West Street, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The moderator will be Lou Davis, a reporter from MPT’s State Circle program. Panelists will include Lu Pierson, past president of the LWV of Maryland; Len Lazarick, Publisher and Editor of MarylandReporter.Com; Del. Aisha N. Braveboy (D, District 25) from Prince George’s County; and Ralph Watkins, Chairman of the LWV of Maryland Task Force on Redistricting Reform. The public is welcome.
