Falcons fall to 3-6 on season routed by Meade 49-0

Severna Park traveled to Meade high school tonight for another Anne Arundel County matchup.  Falcons came in at 3-5 with hopes of salvaging a .500 season.  Meade came into the matchup with a 6-2 record and hopes to make the playoffs.

It was the Mustangs early and often in the first half.  Defensive stops, Offensive passes and a scrambling QB quickly put the Mustangs up with a 33-0 halftime lead.

Then with the ball deep in SP territory, a botched fake punt by SP set up the Mustangs with great field position on several offensive series.   Meade punched it in with a 6 yard run and topped off later with a 15 yard TD pass to finally put the Falcons away.

Northeast comes to SP next week.  Sr. Week with the last home game of the year.  Maybe the Falcons will find an Offense in the next 7 days to close out the 2012 campaign with a win.
