On April 12th Ronni Binstock traveled to Ursinus College in Pennsylvania as part of the Level 9 Maryland State Gymnastics team to compete in the Region 7 Gymnastics Championship. Region 7 comprises New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The top six finishers in the Region move on to compete in the Eastern National Gymnastics Championships. Ronni placed third All Around in the Junior 2 age group, and will represent the Region 7 at Eastern Nationals in Battle Creek, Michigan on May 3rd.
This is what level 9 gymnasts work for
all season...a chance to compete at this one event. Ronni is the only Level 9 gymnast in the State of Maryland to qualify for Eastern Nationals in her age group.
Ronni is a 6th grade straight A student at Severna Park Middle School. She has been training at Docksiders
Gymnastics, in Millersville, MD for 10 years.
