The chair of the Board of Trustees, Louise Knight, and the Rev. Dr. Frank Sawyer—the headmaster of St. Martin's-in-the-Field Episcopal School in Severna Park, MD, are happy to announce that St. Martin's Episcopal has received its first-time AIMS accreditation. The Association of Independent Maryland and D.C. Schools (AIMS) voted unanimously to accredit the age 3-through 8th grade school serving students from central Anne Arundel County for a 10-year period.
AIMS accreditation tells parents that our school meets rigorous standards and is committed to continuously strengthening educational programs for the benefit of our students, who are at the heart of our school and community.
The AIMS accreditation process is a multi-year examination of a school's academic excellence, financial sustainability, committed governance, and campus safety. The students, parents, teachers, and staff together create the culture of St. Martin's Episcopal. Prospective families are invited to tour the school and discover why we earned AIMS accreditation.
