Two SPY Swimmers to Compete at Junior Nationals Meet

SPY swimmers David Harmon and Katie Parker will be competing in the Winter Junior National Championships to be held December 6-8, 2012 at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  In order to compete in this event, swimmers must be members of USA Swimming and meet the time standards for this competition.

David, who has been swimming for SPY for 9 years, will compete in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 500 freestyle events.  A senior at Archbishop Spalding High School, David has committed to attend and swim for Dartmouth College next fall.

Katie, a junior at Severna Park High School, has been swimming for SPY for 8 years.  She will compete in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and 400 IM events at Junior Nationals.  Katie hopes to swim competitively for a Division I college after graduating.
