The application can be downloaded from the webpage at www.aacountyfair.org. Interviews with judges will be held at the Anne Arundel County Fair office, and applicants will also answer a fish bowl question. The selection of the Poultry Princess will be held on September 11th. The Poultry Princess will be crowned on the stage during the intermission of the Fair Queen Contest. Contestants must be 10-15 years of age, have been residents of Anne Arundel County for at least 1 year prior to the deadline, must have never been married, and not have any children. Registration deadline is August 31st. A non-refundable entry fee of $5.00, written essay, and 2 wallet size photos must accompany the registration. Prize money of $50.00 will be awarded to the newly crowned Poultry Princess, as well as a crown and sash, as well as having the opportunity to represent the county fair and educate the public about poultry.
