Megan is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She has been in the healthcare field for approximately 15 years, receiving her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Filled with music, laughter and heart, The Talent Machine: The Show That Started It All celebrates courage, confidence and believing in yourself.
Presented by The Talent Machine Company, this original musical features performers ages 7–14 and an all-alumni creative team. Performances are August 14–23 at Anne Arundel Community College. Evening and matinee performances available. Tickets are $20. The Anne Arundel County Literacy Council (AACLC) will host its 6th-annual fundraiser book fair at Annapolis Mall. The fair will feature 1,000s of gently used books, including children’s books, cookbooks, bestsellers, romance novels, memoirs, mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction, and much more. Books will be priced at $2 for hardbacks, $1 for paperbacks, and $5 for new &amp; notable books of 2025/26. Shoppers can fill a special edition Literacy Council tote bag with books for $25. PayPal, Venmo, credit cards, checks, and cash will be accepted. Also at the book fair — gift basket raffles and more. In support of the event, Discoveries Library will host activities inside the library during book fair hours. Proceeds from the book fair will support the Council’s free adult tutoring programs in Anne Arundel County.
