CHAMPION REALTY HOLDS TOP SPOT AMONG CAPITAL GAZETTE READERS

For the second year in a row Champion Realty is the people’s pick for “Best Real Estate Company” in and around Anne Arundel County. The annual “Readers Choice” contest encourages newspaper readers to cast ballots through February and March. Traditionally, nearly 15,000 readers participate.

“Champion and our agents are significant contributors to this community,” said Champion President and CEO Jon Coile. “After happily and consistently serving the people of Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore for nearly 30 years, it is a tremendous honor to once again receive this vote of confidence."

“It’s heartening to know local residents think so highly of us – I think it’s because we feel like family to people who come back to Champion time after time, as their lives evolve and their housing needs change. We’re that trusted friend who won’t steer them wrong,” said Pat Savani, Vice -President of Champion.

Chancellor Title Services, an affiliate of Champion, this year also was selected as the number one “Readers Choice.” The title company staff works to make settlements go smoothly, and keeps home buyers and sellers informed throughout the process.

“It’s an honor and it’s very appreciated,” said Ed Cohee, President of Chancellor Title. “It recognizes the effort and hard work of our devoted staff.”

And for the fifth time, Champion agent Michael Hamby was voted Best Local Realtor in the same contest. Hamby held the title from 2011 through 2014. Last year he was a finalist.

“I am very proud that so many of my past and future clients recognize the work that I do. It is a pleasure assisting people with a very important step in their lives,” Hamby said. “I also love doing it at Champion because it is like working with family every day.”

“We feel like we won the triple crown,” Coile commented. “I’m really proud of our people and the way the community embraces them.”

Results of all the Readers’ Choice balloting will be published in the May 22 edition of the Capital Gazette.
