Earleigh Station Apartments
Low-income/Rent-limit apartment project proposed for 134 Richie Highway

Earliegh Station Apartments would be a mixed-income community consisting of 84 units for families and the disabled located at 134 Ritchie Highway, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. There will be a total of 5 buildings, 4 garden style buildings and community building. A total of 75 of the units will be affordable to families earning between 30 and 60% of the area median income (AMI) while the 9 market rate units will remain affordable to families earning below 100% of AMI. 134 Ritchie Highway is currently zoned R2, meaning only two houses per acre (4 acres total) are permitted. The builder (Enterprise Housing Corporation) is characterizing this project “work force housing” to bypass the zoning requirements without regard to, among other things, the Fifth District’s small area plan. Reach out to your local representatives and AA County Council Members for more information and to voice concerns regarding the project.
