AAUW to Host Public Screening of The Invisible War
The Anne Arundel County Branch of the American Association of University Women will host a public screening of the documentary The Invisible War on Wednesday, April 17, at 7:00 p.m. The event will take place at Woods Church, 611 Baltimore-Annapolis, Blvd., Severna Park, MD 21146.
Nominated for an Academy Award, The Invisible War is a documentary about rape within our US military. Today, a female soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan is more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire with the number of assaults in the last decade alone in the hundreds of thousands.
