Join us on SUNDAY AFTERNOONS from 1 pm to 3 pm on the grassy fields at Severna Park Senior High School for a GREEN HORNET YOUTH RUGBY "TRY it before you buy, MEET AND GREET." Wear running shoes or cleats and a smile as we help you understand the game. This two-hand touch, co-ed sport is for ages 5 to 15. Players are divided into groups based on their age. This gem of the Green Hornets athletic program brings home state champ titles repeatedly and is known for developing a team player. Focusing on coordination, speed, team focus and skill building, this is a BASIC SKILLS sport that utilizes two hand touch, technique and field savvy that can prepare a player for the future TACKLE RUGBY and soccer programs that many local high schools have begun developing. Our players have gone to college as kickers for football, soccer and even some rugby, along with many team sports players who had their start in the Green Hornets Rugby program. This laid back summertime sport provides ample conditioning and continued play at a reasonable price and with the greatest group of kids one could hope to meet.
