Severna Park's Christmas Tree Lighting and Visit by Santa

5 p.m. - Professional bagpiper Michael Binnie will play holiday tunes.

5:30 p.m. - Performances by the chorus singing "O Christmas Tree!" at 5:30 p.m. and the

5:45 p.m-6:15 - Maryland Performing Arts Center dance performance.

There will also be refreshments served in the Chamber’s community meeting room, after the tree lighting, with more festive music performed by flautist Gino Mezzapelle.  

In addition, the Severna Park at will be open from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Following the tree lighting, Santa Claus will visit Park Plaza with holiday entertainment, free sleigh rides and holiday shopping with extended hours. Free photos will be available with Santa until 8 p.m.

Please bring a new pair of socks or mittens to be donated to a help-the-homeless drive.
